A feature in CRM software used to allow users to create and define additional data fields specific to their organization’s needs.

These fields can be used to store unique and specific information related to customers or business processes, which can facilitate advanced search, sorting, and categorization of customer data.

Custom fields are often used to supplement default fields provided by the CRM software and can be applied to contacts, leads, tasks, opportunities, or any other data points within the system.

Some examples are:
